SACRAMENTS

• Infant Baptism: Children ages 7 can receive the Sacrament of Baptism after the parent or guardian has attended a Baptismal Preparation class. Please contact Fr. Gabriele to set up a class.
• First Reconciliation/First Holy Communion: Preparation will begin the end of September for children 7-14 who desire to make their first confession in the fall and receive their First Communion in the spring. Register children by September 15th. Children in this age group who desire baptism will be prepared through the OCIC. Please contact Fr. Gabriele for more information.
• Confirmation: Since the Archdiocese has requested that youth be confirmed in 7th grade we have changed our Confirmation program. If your children are students at St. Therese School, they will be taught by priests in 6th and 7th grade with the intention of preparing them for this Sacrament. In their 7th grade year they will have some additional out-of-class meetings and community service. Please fill out the Confirmation form below and submit to the office by the end of September.
• OCIA (formerly known as RCIA): Adults who are interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith and/or preparing to receive Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, the Eucharist, Confirmation. Classes meet every Tuesday from October until Easter. We are doing OCIA preparation in conjunction with the parishes of St. Henry and St. Joseph the Worker. • For the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick, the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony and to schedule a funeral, please contact the parish office.
